Our owner left full time employment as a manager of a complementary medicine practice in Norwich to take a risk starting a website dedicated to spiritual growth. At the time our owner had no particular savings and started the business from home. Now we have business premises, a number of full time staff and we have passed break even.

Our company gives us great excitement to be at this stage is now strong and our owner want to make us the best, full of exciting products from around the world and full of articles and resources to help people on whatever path they are treading. Our company is still 100 percent privately owned, so we feel our only obligation is to our customers and to continue improving what we have to offer. We are particularly proud of the testimonials we have received from our customers and we have also received a number of significant awards including being a regional winner in the 2002 government backed e-commerce awards.

One of the most exciting part of our job is sourcing the products. We now import products in from all around the world including countries like Nepal, Thailand, USA, Italy, Brazil, India and Japan. And because we always try to deal direct with the manufacturers of our products we are usually in a good position to offer the best prices. We take our ethical and environmental responsibilities seriously. We try to ensure the suppliers we use treat their employees with respect and do not employ child labor. In fact many of our suppliers have an active involvement in their local communities, often contributing time or money.

In our own processes we are always trying to become more environmentally aware. This is an ever evolving process and we are only a small way along, but at present we use energy saving bulbs, recycle the cardboard and paper and plastic we generate and we print our stationary and promotional cards on recycled paper. There are other processes we have changed and there are also many on the list. Our company is an internet mail order business, that is to say we do not have a shop in the high street and we do not publish a catalogue - our website is our catalogue. Because e-commerce is all we do that is where our total focus goes.

When you place an order with us we state that the package will leave us within 24 hours. We ship nearly all packages first class post except for heavier packages which go by a courier service.
