Handmade jewellery, bags, purses and hammocks, Volkswagen collectibles, die cast models of air-cooled vehicles importer and distributor. We trade fairly with all our suppliers and each and every product has been selected in person from small family businesses around the world. The vast majority of products are bought directly from the makers at local markets. The jewellery is made from a wide variety of materials including fused glass, coconut, pewter, wood, silicon, 92.5 percent silver, Alpaca silver and gemstones. Our bags are mainly shoulder bags, ranging from Peruvian woven ones to the brightest bags we have ever seen from the Flower Hmong tribe in Vietnam. We stock small, woven coin purses from Bolivia, velcro wallets with colourful decoration and retro-styled ladies purses. The hammocks are beautiful Bolivian woven ones in bright colours with thick white rope handles. We are a small company offering a personal service and excellent value.
The majority of our jewellery and bags, as well as all the hammocks, were bought in this way, directly from the people that actually made them. A small amount was found on the stalls or in the shops of more experienced traders but this is all still handmade, and usually by the shopkeeper and their family. We enjoy good business relationships with our suppliers and have enabled some of them to really grow their business and income. We firmly believe that we contribute directly to the welfare of these families in a very positive way and always look forward to returning and seeing our new friends again.
