Operation. For a safe and comfortable bath, simply sit on the seat platform, rotate your legs into the tub, and adjust the side laterals for back support. To lower, push down the button on the hand control and Beluga RSB will lower you into the tub. Once at the bottom, if you continue to hold the button, the back will recline to a 35 degree angle. To raise the seat, push the up button on the hand control and the back will come to the upright position and then the lift will rise. The adjustable side flaps on the back support are easily positioned by lifting the flaps and letting the flap reset in the hinge. The reclining back will seperate from the base for ease when cleaning or traveling. The Beluga RSB comes with a 12 volt battery and charger. The battery will give multiple cycles and the lift has a built in safety feature that will not allow thye lift to lower if there is not enough battery charge to raise it again. A red light will glow on the hand control to tell you that the battery is low or out of charge. Recharging the battery after each use will give the optimum battery life. Beluga RSB fits standard size tubs that do not exceed 26 inch across the top opening or 16 inch deep. Beluga RSB Wide will fit tubs that are up to 33 inch across the top opening. Height adapters allow iether size beluga to fit a tub as deep as 9 inch. Components. Beluga seat, back and lifting scissors are made with fiber reinforced plastic. Covers for seat and back are made from blown PVC, are machine washable and latex free. The unique hinge decreases the possibility of pinching, allowing you to sit directly on the non-slip patterned surface without the covers. Four suction cups hold the lift securely on the tub floor.
