The steering servo is contained within the outboard unit, and the prop is powered by a large, high-revving motor that sits inside the hull. The shaft angle in the lower unit can be adjusted to keep the nose of the boat out of the water, which makes for higher top speeds. For better cornering, the drive angle can be reduced.
