This is the first release from independent Australian singer/songwriter Wax Hum. The EP features 8 full production songs, packed with emotion, heartwarming melodies and dramatic changes in style. Stylistically the EP has been likened to Bloc Party, Ben Lee, Franz Ferdinand and New Order. Originally trained as a pianist, Wax Hum picked up drums to join a band at University, then sang in a band in the steelworks city Whyalla, and later picked up bass to play in a cover band 4-5 nights a week with his brother. Wax Hum performs the majority of the instruments on the EP and members of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra perform the string sections. The Wax Hum release has been well received, gaining airplay on nearly 25 radio stations across the country. Much of the EP was recorded from a home studio, and commercial studios were used for recording drums and mastering. For more information please visit www.waxhum.com. Weight: 124 g
